Is it possible to downgrade from 4c back to 4b? My inventory report is not complete in 4c and it is one of the main reports I need to run.

Not much changed from
Not much changed from 2008.04b to 'c' so it should be easy to fix the report problem you are having.
The only changes for 'c' appear to be related to a case-sensitivity so I can't think of how that could be causing the problem you are seeing. Did you change the query that is run to get the set of devices? If you try to run the report with a criteria of IP address is "" (empty string) does the report include all your devices?
If you absolutely must downgrade, you can follow the upgrade steps by just backing up the 'derby', 'repository', and 'lucene' directories.

inventory incomplete
I deleted the job and created a new using the IP address as the search criteria. I still only get a portion, 3 of 10 pages in the PDF output.
Let me know
Let me know if the downgrade works. Is there anything in common about the devices that show up, and the ones that don't show up in the reports?

interesting
Well none of my COS, CSS, or Access Points are in the report. There are only but not all IOS based devices in the report.
Downgrade from 'c' to 'b' to base 2008.04
I downgraded from C to B and saw the problem mentioned about no entries in my reports at all. So I went one step back to 2008.4 and my reports are now running complete. That will teach me .... if it is not broke ... don't fix it.
Thanks
Experiment
Do you have a system you can experiment with?
If so, can you install 2008.04c, backup your devices, and zip the Derby directory and mail it to me so I can diagnose the problem? I hate for you to be stuck on 2008.04, because 2008.04c added the configuration change report, which is quite handy. My email address is brett at ziptie.org.
